In 1st Cor 15:31 the Apostle Paul tells us that he takes every day of his life to kill his flesh. There is not one day in our lives that we are not going to have to beat our flesh down. There is going to be something that is going to attract and lure your flesh on a different path. This especially applies to you if you are living in the flesh instead of the Spirit. Those not living a holy life will have some trouble.
Notice that Paul's spirit kept his flesh where it was supposed to be...down. For Paul to say, "I die daily" in 1 Cor 15:31 he is demonstrating to those to come that satan and his evil spiritus have daily tricks to cause God's people to struggle. He even says in the previous sentence that we stand in jeopardy every hour. Yes, as a Child of God you will go through some kind of persecution or suffering. Your enemy has a long list to choose from.
If you don't mind please get a piece of paper. I would like to go through a list of sins that you may have struggled with. When you see something that you have been experiencing, please write it down. No one can see you so it stays personal. When you are through, put it away or tear it up and throw it away with a little prayer of repentance to the Lord.
Lying, cheating, gossip, hatred, jealousy, separation, divorce, theft, sexual perversion, homosexuality, masturbation, soft or hard porn, beastiality, child abuse, trafficking, animal abuse, adultery, pride, boasting, neglect, whoredom, hypocrite, prostitution, abortion, murder, lust, envy, greed, abominations, temptation, non- repentance, secret sins, alcoholism, drugs, lust for money, impurity, idolatry, cursing, fortune tellers, horoscopes, disobedience, opposite spirit, mediums, spiritualists, tarot, Ouiji board, voodoo, Santeria, witchcraft, ungratefulness, unholiness, deceit, malice, slanderers, God-haters, arrogance, nakedness, lack of discipline, corruption, argumentative, quarrels, back-biting, contention, rape, rage, complaining, making your stomach your god, luxury, self- indulgence, slack, laziness, foolishness, evilt houghts, (an evil heart), wicked schemes, a false witness, slothfulness, slumber, accusations, anger, assault, astrology, bitterness, unforgiveness. blasphemy, eating blood, anything against nature, defrauding wages, uncharitableness, divination, sorcery, magic, atheism, perjury, euthanasia, scandal, gluttony, terrorism, extortion, incest, taking advantage of the poor, adulation (talking someone into doing bad things), avarice (earthly goods without limitations), having a passion for riches and luxury or those who seek temporal happiness at the expense of spiritual duties, doubt, heresy, apostasy, despair, presumption, indifference, lukewarmness, being a trader to those who love you, and so on.
Check your list, repent immediately and be free in Jesus name! Amen.

Good Monday morning everyone!I pray that your Holiday was a wonderful one. Thanksgiving is something that we should 'do' on a daily basis and not just once a year amen? The reason for writing you this morning is that I have received an email from someone who is very concerned about their prayer requests. There seems to be a problem here that I would like to resolve. Please do not forward prayer requests to your favorite groups. I hate to be so upfront and blunt about it but it has also happened to me. The reason is because some have joined our group because they are familiar with some of the members and with the owners. They do not want their personal prayer requests E-Blasted all over the internet. I concur. They've been finding their personal prayer requests on other sites and coming back in their emails from people that they either do not know or whom has not taken the time out to fellowship with them. It's actually understandable. I believe that even the world has what is called "The HIPAA Law" that results in privacy.Notice that I have included the request on the opening page of our group. If people want to be a part of New Birth Ministries they should not be shy, resentful or whatever the case may be, and join. They just cannot take our information out and E-Blast it the way that they want to. That is only fair. I think this may answer your question as to "Well isn't prayer-prayer?" Yes it is but when someone joins us, they join because they love and trust us.I am afraid that some on the internet have become competitive to the point of disrespecting those that they reveal to unassuming characters. Some have even contacted personal contacts of people just to "get" prayer requests. That is not Godly. It is stealing and manipulative.Thank you for understanding. If you know of anyone who likes to distribute prayer requests, PLEASE ask them to join our group first, getting permission before doing so?God bless,Rev Esther R. Scott

It has come to my attention that there are some who are receiving lessons without taking tests and that is quite alright. You really don't have to take the tests if you do not want a Certificate of Biblical Studies. My concern is that these people are not keeping in contact enough to show whether or not they are still interested. I do not want anyone to feel forced to receive the lessons. That would be horrible. That is far from necessary right now especially since God is blessing NBBI more than we first expected. As Minister Lex says, "You cannot force information on anyone who doesn't want it."
If you are still interested and you are enjoying the free lessons, please drop us a line or two every now and then and let us know. It would be greatly appreciated. If we don't hear from you, as was stated in our Welcome packet, we will take it that you are no longer interested. That is why it is set up for students to receive the new lessons ONLY after they take the tests and send them back in, which of course is a bit different than what is required for those who do not take tests. It lets us know that they are flowing in the Spirit and enjoying learning.
There are only 2 who are not keeping in contact. Are you one? I miss hearing from you and would like to hear a blessing from you or send you one once in a while.
Blessings to you and enjoy your weekend,
