Be the Bible for someone.

I just had a man tell me that his life has been inspired by watching how my daughter has changed in the last 2 years. Now he wants to minister. And he is grown and married. God is good. Hang in there moms and dads Gods Word WILL work as promised.

You never know who is watching.

Good Monday Morning! 30 Sept 13

Good and Blessed Morning to you!

2 Samuel 6:12 And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obed–edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed–edom into the city of David with gladness.

Knowing that God's presence is with you should make you glad...daily!

Some tips on my recent weight-loss

I am learning something from my daughter which had proven to be true. When you are exercising with fasting, there is going to have to be at least one day that you eat more than usual. We dubbed yesterday as our 'resting and smashing' day and I still woke up this morning tenths of a pound lighter! My body is still burning fat.

If you don't give your body at least one day to rejuvenate itself and 'party' so to speak, it will think that it is starving and will go into a "greedy" mode. You will definitely over-eat more than just the one "smashing" day. It will be like the movie, "Groundhog Day" when you keep waking up to the same weight over and over.

Watch your calories for 6 days and 'party' on the 7th (whichever day you choose to make your 7th). Do not "pig out" excessively but enjoy yourself on that 7th day! Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. (Please remember "moderation.") I usually do a 1200-1400 calorie day and my 7th day is approximately 1800-2000 calories therefore that one day I am completely satisfied and my body feels 'safe'.

Our cells have what is called "cell-memorization" and you can teach your cells to get used to the 6 days small, 7th day medium regiment. Your body will be happy to burn off all excess.

I know it sounds crazy but it's working for me. I pray that you do it and allow it to work for you as well.

God bless,

Essie

P.S. Try to stay away from sugar replacements. Studies have shown that they cause excess weight. (Try honey, etc. Anything God-made.)

To give or not to give?

To give or not to give?

There is a scripture in the bible that people tend to use when they are describing what happens when you do not take care of what God calls, "The Least". But there is something that some may have missed in quoting the following scripture:

Matthew 25:40

40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

What they may have missed is the fact that not only does Jesus tell us that what we do (bad or good) unto the least, we have done also unto Him but please see the scripture that not so long afterwards, follows verse 40:

Matthew 25:45

45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

Jesus also says that whatever we have NOT done to the least we also have not done for Him as well. If you do not feed one who is hungry or finance the needy or poor, you haven't shown love to the Jesus in them and He records it, after all He will be your Lawyer at the Great White Throne Judgement. (Rev 20:11)

When you see that someone needs something and you do not help them, you are guilty of adding to failure in their lives. Just like the Priest who passed up the man on the side of the road, you are doing the same. He didn't want to get His clothes damaged or he wouldn't be able to perform in the Temple therefore he didn't want to take that chance. Who are you pleasing man or God? That man on the side of the road was the Priest's test and the Priest failed it. Some people were placed into your life as a test. How are you treating them? With a long-handled spoon? The Priest probably felt pity for the man too but he offered no help, no encouragement. Therefore he was NOT helping Jesus. He was refusing to do good at the perfect chance to do so.

Don't judge those in need, don't worry about what they may do with the help that you give them, just help them. When someone gives help and wants to know what was done with that help, they are truly not giving because they are trying to control that help and we know that control is manipulation. Manipulation is rebelling against someone's freedom. You cannot manipulate Jesus. Grace gives us freedom.

1 Samuel 15:23

23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry...

Whatever you do in life, do good, Jesus will reward you.

God bless you, Essie
