On celebrating Christmas:
Jews really didn't celebrate birthdays back in the day. Man is just celebrating the birth of the King that came to the Earth to save us from sin, Hell and death. It is a positive, encouraging and uplifting event which is what we are to be and do everyday in our lives...be encouraging not discouraging. Jesus is the only "Leader" who didn't just die. He died and rose again, with many witnesses, (it is documented in Jewish History and many other history books that He DID rise). No other "Rabbi/Prophet/Leader ever rose again and 'stayed' alive but Jesus. He gave us the promise of His Holy Spirit and if people don't accept the Holy Spirit they won't understand Him. When Jesus asked Peter who he thought that He was, Peter answered, "The Son of God, The Christ" and Jesus told him that he wouldn't have known that unless the 'Spirit' God showed him that. People don't understand God and His Son because they reject the Spirit who is our Teacher. One can read the Bible a million times front and back, but without the Spirit helping them, it will just be mumble-jumble to them which is what is happening in the World today. Too many men are wise in *their own* eyes.
