The thought just went through my mind how God has always, all of my life, set me in high places. Some of us need to think of the undeserved favor that we’ve received in our lives. The Lord has us setting in places that we did not work for, seats that we didn’t earn in some way, and in gatherings of which we really shouldn’t have been invited to.
Look where you are in your life today and all that you’ve accomplished in (some) way. Did you really deserve it? I’m not speaking of the fleshly, prideful type of thinking. I am speaking of the humble, and honorable stations of life. Some of you are setting on round-tables that you do not deserve to sit on. You were either chosen by someone or sent by God to fill a space, to represent His Kingdom. Don’t forget who sent you. You simply have God’s Favor upon you. Don’t question it, don’t fear it, do not be intimidated by any opposition, just wear it (Favor) well. There will always be nay-sayers. Ignore them. They didn’t put you where you are right now. Everybody is not going to like you. They should really learn to stay in their own lane and run their own race. Just run yours my friend.
16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
