Ruth E. Carter took home the Academy Award.
Ruth E. Carter took home the Academy Award for ‘Best Costume Design’ for her incredible work on Marvel’s ‘Black Panther.’
The award makes her the first Black woman EVER to win in that category. It is also the first Oscar EVER for Marvel Studios.
